Raft it out with KHERSONESE EXPEDITION
Sg.Itek as known to all folks or Sg.Kampar as listed in
the map is the best place for introduction to White Water Rafting for
beginners. The invigorating river environment with exciting cascading rapids
complemented with beautiful scenery is the best place to wind down your
weekend.
ITINERARY
1 DAY UPPER SUNGAI KAMPAR (ITEK) RAFTING
0930 HRS
Meet KEX (Khersonese Expedition Sdn. Bhd.) representative at R&R Tapah, after which depart
to the ‘PUT IN’ point at KAMPUNG ULU GERUNTUM, Gopeng. Drivers will
drive their car to the ‘TAKE OUT’ point at KAMPUNG JAHANG and then KEXSB
representative will transfer the driver back to ‘PUT IN’.
1030 HRS
(Approx) Allocations of all rafting
equipments (Helmet / PFD / Paddles) , followed by detail briefing about 15 – 20
minutes and flip exercise. Participants will be divided into grouping of
maximum 6 persons per raft. Practical exercise on the aspects of their white
water rafting for about 10 minutes. The rafting will take 3 hours depending on
the group size .
1400 HRS
(Approx) Arrive at the ‘Take Out’ point at Kampung
Jahang where participants can change
into dry clothing and have lunch before
departing back to destination of origin.
(Bathing in the River !!)
